"The couple who run the facility are engaging and very welcoming. We were greeted with a drink of choice and conversation to get to know our hosts as well as them getting to know us. The room was just as promised with a balcony overlooking the pool. We were given great advice on visiting some of the nearby sights. The location was perfect!! I celebrated my birthday while there and the host both greeted me that morning wishing me a Happy Birthday. Fabulous stay!!!"

"Beautiful country setting! Further from Santarem than we expected but very kind and helpful people owner who directed us to some adventures in Tomar! Beds were very comfortable and bedding was crisp n white - very clean. Cute little balcony facing the mountains. Paid additional for a wonderful full breakfast - eggs n bacon , fresh fruit, pastries etc. Lovely owners!!"

"This hotel is in a magnificent position overlooking a majestic cathedral and our room had a perfect view of the church. One particular member of the restaurant staff was unbelievably helpful and generous and the food was excellent. The room was comfortable but had no tissues or hair conditioner. Room was spacious, bright and clean, beds maybe a little firmer than I would like, but this I find is normal in Europe. Black out drapes ensure a dark, quiet restful environment. "Very friendly, welcoming front desk. They were very helpful. The room was very accommodating for a family of 3. It is an easy walk from the back of this hotel to the Fatima Sanctuary and its surrounding chapels, churches etc. We would gladly recommend this place. We would love to come back and stay again. "
