「Only this was spa is offsite」

「The location of the hotel was ideal. However, the hotel is marked parking on site included. There is no onsite parking. There is free public parking across the river, but no way to stop and unload at the hotel. This was fine for us, but might negatively affect someone with mobility challenges. Also there is no elevator and narrow stairs to consider. The staff was lovely and the kitchenette was a pleasant surprise. 」

「Room and facilities were great. Staff was incredibly friendly too. They helped us to arrange a trip to a winery nearby for wine tasting which was an excellent experience. Only a few restaurants nearby, you will need a car to explore around the hotel. 」

「Was a great get away. The facilities were new and well thought out. Had a hiccup on check-in as they didn’t have connectivity with Expedia. Originally had room 18 (?) and it was tiny and wonky. Upgraded to suite 22 and it was awesome! Huge difference but not much via rate. Definitely pay for upgrade. The AC in the room wasn't working very well but was still comfortable. Highly recommend!」

「We were put in a room with an ensuite bathroom that was the disabled bathroom for the complex. It was restricted for our use only so that would have been okay. However there was a strong sewer smell that was revolting. There was no body wash in the dispenser or in the bathroom of the other room we rented. The room was dusty and the windows were nailed shut. Not acceptable .」

「Très bonne surprise lors de notre arrivée. Les photos lors de la réservation ne mettaient pas en avant toutes les qualités du site : arrivée dans une hacienda avec de nombreux chevaux, très beaux bâtiments et les chambres très bien décorées. Que dire aussi de l’ambiance autour de la pièce de vie avec une magnifique vue et le bruit de l’eau de la rivière qui passe sous le bâtiment : très reposant .」

「The best part was Mrs Dana and her husband, lovely staff that receive us and cared about the place. The room was comfortable, relatively quiet (although I am not so sure about noise isolation for the rooms). It is relatively close to Abrantes by car, and there were two fantastic dogs that immediately came to greet us. It was a wonderful experience. The place needs some investing, though; it is a really nice property but in needs of some work.」
