"I enjoyed the breakfast especially because it was hosting until 10am. It gave me time to sleep in and the staff was very friendly."

"This property is tired and in need of an overhaul. The popcorn ceilings had several large in a section of the room next to the air unit. The balcony paint is peeling in several areas. There was a plant growing from the dirt accumulated in between the glass protection panels. When the sheer curtain was pulled back there was black mold in the ceiling from the sliding window leaking. I would not stay here again. It’s tired and in need of refurbishing. I have video of all this if you’d like to view it. "

"The room was clean. Staff was friendly. I didn't eat the breakfast there nor did I park."

"The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was the lighting in the room. There were only small lamps for lighting and it made placing and locating small items very difficult. With the drapes closed, the room was very dark."

"The parking is down the street in a lot. It was very easy to get in with the door code given. It was also very quiet and had a cool atmosphere."

"The hotel is old with nostalgia. There were no amenities specifically for AlphaKappaAlpha as our 5 day convention was going on. The hotel can really use more upgrading. There was no complementary breakfast and I was told we should go next door to the Fairfield hotel for that. The food on the rooftop of the Elayton was very good. Over all, I give the hotel 3 stars. I was a little disappointed because the hotel did not honor the AKA convention rate and it was not worth the cost. "
