「A peaceful, secluded, picturesque cabin that has all the amenities and is a very nice place to stay. It is remote, and involves a lengthy drive to any attractions/destinations, but that is part of the charm and allure. Comfortable accommodations with a pretty view of the portion of Lay Lake that gets very little boat traffic. A little on the pricey side, but well worth it if you really want to get "away" away. Highly recommend.」

「The staff was very welcoming and kind as I arrived. They said hello if I bumped into them around the property. The room was extremely clean, but had a strong smell of bleach. The interior seemed updated and fresh. I was a little concerned that the room had so many locks (3) at the door but I was safe, the road noise was a bit loud.」

「Very nice place to stay for a quiet getaway without having to drive several hours from Birmingham. Idea for a couples weekend getaway or parents for a quick quiet getaway. Fridge is small so if staying longer than a weekend I would recommend a cooler for extra storage.」
