She escorted us to our room and showed us how everything worked -- remotes for TV, Netflix, door code AC, etc. I appreciated this since it takes forever to figure out new remotes when rooms have 3 or 4 on the table unlabeled. 「The Wedding Cake House was a unique and beautiful place to stay. The room was clean and had lovely tile work around the mirror and in the shower.The dining room was elegant and you could choose to have a continental breakfast by filling out a form with your food choices. It was about a 5 to 10 minute drive to College Hill where we spent a lot of time visiting Brown University and RISD. I would absolutely stay here again if I find myself in Providence. 「The hotel has three buildings and all are in a fine location. Free breakfast is very good. There is a shower bath but no bathtub. Staff are very friendly. My room was on the basement story and smelt a little bit musty, but it was beautifully furnished, clean and spacious.」

「It was a nicely updated unit in a beautiful old Newport home. The location is a nice neighborhood, conveniently walkable to everything around. The management was very friendly and responsive. All in all, a wonderful stay — we absolutely plan to choose this place again when we’re next in Newport!」
