"Breakfast was good and service was great! Room was a bit on the warm side, my menopause was not cooperating well. All in all great location and convenient for the rest and time to visit the places that we were looking forward to seeing! Definitely staying again!"

"First of all, there was no staff. No one met us when we got there. We were to be let into the building remotely, but we were not. Another tenant was leaving and allowed us to enter. We were standing out in the rain for 20 minutes before the contact person responded to us. There was an issue with security. The lockbox on the room was not locking, and the Management insisted that I leave the key in there. It took two days for them to get the situation resolved. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby within walking distance. However, just be aware that there are homeless sleeping in the doorways in the surrounding area. This space was more like a dorm room than a hotel room. If that’s your cup of tea that’s perfect. We did not care for it. There was absolutely no hot water in the morning hours and it was sporadic getting hot water in the evening for showers."

"We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Les Chambers d'Or. It is located in the heart of the Prati neighborhood, and the metro stop is just a few blocks away. The neighborhood has a great vibe, within easy walking distance of the Vatican. The room was small but clean and updated. It comes fully stocked with basic amenties such as shampoo, body wash, a coffee maker, safe, and small fridge. The room has an AC unit, but we couldn't figure out how to get it to work well. The room has the 3-prong plugs (Type L, I think?) There is a small but functional elevator in the building. When you first get there, press the call button to have them let you in. The facility is on the third floor. They man the desk from around 8 to 5 ish? (We tended to leave before they got there and get back after they were gone for the day.) Once you have your key card, you can let yourself into the building by just holding that key card over the keypad that sits above the regular call button. Roberto was super friendly but isn't a strong English speaker. (The cleaning staff were a bit easier to communicate with, though.) You will need to pay the room tax in cash. For our 5-night stay for two people, it was 40 Euros total, which they collected when we checked in. Pizza M'Po directly across the street was great, and we stopped for cappuccinos and pastries several times as Parenti, which is just around the corner. I can't comment on the sit down restaurants in the neighborhood because we didn't visit any of them. "

"Absolutely incredible hotel! The staff was kind and so accommodating. Breakfast is delicious in a beautiful setting. The front desk and bar area are beautiful and the staff is so friendly and helpful "

"The location is very central-close to the Vatican and St. Peter’s square. That’s about the only positive thing I can say about it. The room I stayed in was slightly bigger than a closet. I’m not even sure if the blanket was changed? It had an unpleasant odour, although the concierge downstairs was kind enough to give me a new one. Stay here if you can’t find anything else and you value a prime location, but if you’re willing to walk or take surface level transport, there are plenty of better value and cleaner hotels elsewhere. "
