James was very friendly and helpful. The service was great. It was just a bit long way to get to the hotel from the station, but everything else was excellent.

perfect!!

このB&Bは、バチカン市国まで徒歩約10分、メトロの駅まで5分、またバス停がすぐそばにある好立地でどこへ行くにも便利でした。一番いいお部屋が空いていたらしく、アップグレードしてもらえました。お部屋は、清潔でハイセンスでとても気に入りました。オーナーのMarcoさんはとても親切な方で、聞き取りやすい英語でローマの町について説明してくださいました。そして、バチカン美術館は毎日長蛇の列ができるからと、チケットを予約してくれたので並ばずに入場できてスムーズに観光できました。他のスタッフさんも好感が持てる方々ばかりでした。朝食は紙に書いてある好きなメニューにチェックマークを付けて希望の時間を書いて、お部屋の前にかけてある箱に入れておくと翌朝お部屋まで届けてくれる仕組みです。困ったことは、場所が少し分かりにくかったことくらい。あと、鍵の開け方は日本とは違うので、オーナーさんが帰る前にレクチャーしてもらったほうがいいかも。他は言うことなし！！ Town House 62のおかげで、ローマステイが最高なものになりました。またローマを訪れる機会があれば絶対に利用したいです。おすすめです。

On May 29,2025, I paid Expedia $1933.51 upfront for 9 nights at Town House 62 in Rome, Italy, in good faith that I would have a decent room to stay in from 12/29/25 to 1/7/26. My son and his wife (Nathaniel and Meaghan Young) also paid in advance and booked 9 nights at House 62 for the same time period. After staying there one night, it was obvious that none of us could stay another night. Why? Mold and a very nasty stench in our room. We tried running water in case the drain traps were dry and we ran the exhaust fan in the bathroom only to wake to the entire room stinking the next morning. Nothing we did got rid of the very foul smell. Perhaps, it was the smell of dead mice or rats! Also, there was mold on the ceiling above the showers, mold that had been painted over around windows, and mold around windows that hadn’t been painted over. Given the very foul smell and the fact that all four of us are highly allergic to mold, there was no way that we could continue staying at Town House 62. We had headaches, sore throats, and burning noses just staying one night. There were other concerns with the two rooms like the sink and shower being stopped up and not draining, the bathroom door not moving to open/close properly, dry rotted particle board trim at the bottom of the bathroom door, the chandelier taped to the ceiling, the sketchy elevator, weird building security requiring multiple pass codes and multiple sets of keys, etc.

The room was neglected. Room 1 was covered in mold in the bathroom and along the window. My wife and I were ill after staying in the room one night. Additionally, the bathoom door would barely open. The sink and shower were stopped up. The mattress is about 4 inches thick and soft as a brick. The chandelier was taped to the ceiling, none of the pictures on the listing reflect the room we stayed in. My parents stayed in a Junior Suite and their room was not any better. There room smelled worse and it was clear that the mold in their room has been painted over. Ultimately we checked out early. We originally booked for 9 nights. We stayed one night. The manager would only refund 6 nights because he claimed there was a 3 night minimum. I can book this hotel for 1 night, so I guess that was a lie. I also paid the city tax for 9 nights and was told I would receive a refund for the nights we didn't stay. Over a week later and I still haven't received the refund, so I had to dispute the charge with the credit card. I guess this was also a lie. I reached out to Expedia for a full refund, as we only received a partial refund and they were not helpful. They were sent pictures of the mold and didn't seem to care. I won't be using Expedia in the future because I am uncertain if there listings are safe for my health and they have limited recourse to protect their customers. In conclusion, we left this B&B after one night, were charged over $1200 (USD) for 1 night, 2 rooms.

Room and location was superb. Spacious, clean, and close to public transport. Staff was also very accomodating and friendly. My only wish was they would add a door/drape for the shower so the water stops wetting the floor.

We had such a great stay here! We wanted to be close to the Vatican for the Jubilee Year and this was the perfect location; it only took us 15 minutes to walk to the Vatican!! The breakfast was amazing and it was super clean. This hotel is perfect walking distance to the Trevi Fountain and Pantheon. I have no complaints.

Room where really nice and the staff excellent. Breakfast served to room was so nice! Only thing we disliked was the too small bed wear :) Location we found exellent and for sure would like to revisit.

Everything about the stay was great apart from the Breakfast timings. Day 1 we didn't get breakfast because it hadn't arrived 30 minutes after it had been booked for and we had to leave for the day before it was ready. Days 2 - 4 it arrived increasingly earlier than ordered so that by Day 4 it was delivered 30 minutes before we had asked for it. The breakfast itself was good. Everything else was great: location was perfect with a bus stop right outside and a metro station just 6 or 7 minutes away. Housekeeping was attentive, and Marco was very helpful with straightforward check-in and check-out.

El hotel esta bien ubicado, cerca de todo pero lejos de las multitudes de Roma, una estacion del metro a unos 500 metros con la linea que llegar a la estacion central del tren. Marco muy amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudarnos, pero nos decepciono el tamaño, equipamineto y servicios del cuarto, nada que ver con lo que se ve en as fotos y se me hizo caro para 200 euros la noche.

Would return and recommend

Great location in the Prati neighborhood. Amenities within a two-block radius include numerous restaurants, a grocery store, and a pharmacy. Easy access to river and major points of access into central Rome. Vatican and Castle St. Angelo within easy walking distance. Near bus route to FCO but arrangements for private transport to airport were readily made by staff at our request.

The room was little ruff around the edges. The bathroom although adequate, had an issue with a musky smell probably from a drainage issue!!!! it was quite overbearing at times. I would’ve rated it a lot lower but the staff were really friendly and helpful.

This is actually a very good hotel; it just missed an excellent rating if the mattress on the bed were better. The hotel is very charming and quaint. They provided breakfast delivered to your room daily. There were shops and restaurants in the area, which made it convenient. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Overall, it was a good stay!
