"The studio was just as pictured and furnished
Lovely. It was also very clean and lots of shopping to walk too. On weekends the are craft fairs with local items to buy across the street. Lots of places to party but our room was very quiet. I’d definitely stay there again. "
"Wonderful B&B that was clean, safe, affordable, centrally located and with very helpful staff. Ajita was exceptionally helpful with our arrival, recommending where to eat and what to see during our visit. She also served us several nice breakfasts. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again. "
"Very nice and spacious, room was clean. The reception with Joanna (i hope i have her name right) she is amazing. Very welcoming and helpful. Makes sure everything is perfect 👌.
Very well situated and easy to walk around everywhere. No parking. "

"Property was beautiful and well kept. Staff service was outstanding. The breakfast was great. Other food we had there was good but overpriced. The hotel is not walkable for people with limited mobility, and unfortunately we have some limitations - didn't realize this before choosing the hotel. The cab drivers called for us by the hotel were excellent."
"The four of us, including our two sons who are in their early twenties, stayed for five nights in two rooms. The hotel managed to provide a twin room for the boys which was appreciated.
The rooms were comfortable and the service was excellent.
We also enjoyed the rooftop pool and bar.
The location was good for us, although it is at the top of a hill so staying there keeps you in shape."
Wine & Books Porto Hotel - Small Luxury Hotels of the World
10/10 Excellent
"Without a doubt a 5 star luxury hotel. Staff trained to take excellent care of you and any requests you may have. Very welcoming environment and rooftop bar was exceptional - lovely views across the city, great food and wine menu and very family friendly. Breakfast was superb. Excellent buffet with champagne included as well as a la carte. Chefs cater to dietary requirements and even offered to make special breakfasts for our baby. A truly wonderful stay and we will be back! "
"Loved this place. It had so much character and was like stepping back in time except with modern amenities. My room had a balcony with view of the lovely garden and the Clerigos Tower. Air conditioned (Porto was hot). Bed was comfortable. Modern bathroom with luxurious bathsheets. Breakfast buffet was definitely worth it with many options including an espresso machine. The woman who checked me in was very helpful and friendly. The rest of the staff was nice but a little aloof - not a big deal. It's not a good place for people with mobility issues because you have a flight of stairs before you get to reception and elevator level. And noone helps you with your luggage. Also, unless you hire luxury transport, you'll get dropped a half block away (Uber). The location is great. Get a paper map. Google and Apple maps are terrible. From here I walked everywhere. There's a wonderful authentic home cooking restaurant just across the cobblestone from the hotel. Restaurants and shopping all around. "
