The hotel is very nice and the staff are great. My checkout was on March 8th, management gave all the women a cute card and those checking out a cookie. The only draw back was the late night partying from the surrounding area and the rooftop bar was closed for the season.

Clean property, friendly staff, nice breakfast. Modern and well maintained. Rooftop terrace was closed and the lobby was very tiny so there was no place to hang out outside your room. No views and hard to locate hotel. It felt a little claustrophobic to me. You also couldn’t control temp from the rooms and it was very hot at night. If you book here don’t drive.

The hotel was lovely, great location & staff were great. We got a free drink of port and you could have free coffee and cake in the afternoon which was a lovely touch. We couldnt access the roof terrace during our stay which i asume was due to the weather. The only thing letting the hotel down was surrounding noise,the room was so warm we tried to sleep with the window open but couldnt, even with the window shut you could hear passers by shouting until easily 4.30am.. out of the hotels control but we really didnt sleep much the 3 nights and was ready to come home. To note we were the 5th floor too.

It was my first time in Porto, Hotel Moon & Sun is in the perfect location and within walking distance to all the historical and sightseeing destinations. There are ample restaurants and cafes steps away, and markets and shopping are minutes walk away as well. Hotel staff was great and the room was very clean and perfect for after long days out exploring the beautiful city.
