"We weren't prepared for how remote this property is and the extended rainy season made it even more so with very poor road conditions. Be sure to stock up on EVERYTHING you'll need before going up there as a trip to any store or restaurant will be lengthy. We had to leave after staying only one of our two nights as we just didn't have enough food. "We stayed 6 nights. I can’t say enough good things about this place. 10/10. The best place we’ve ever stayed. Friendly staff, amenities were far beyond what we paid. I did sunrise yoga 3 mornings out of 6 and they were fantastic every time. The sound healing session was amazing. The food is the best food you will have EVER. Different menu every night and it never disappointed. The pools were fantastic, beach was amazing. It didn’t rain once the whole week we were there despite the forecast saying rain everyday. We had the superior ocean view which was fantastic ocean view with beautiful sunset views. It’s a great location walking distance from lots of shops, food, beach, nightlife and markets. The service was impeccable, grounds were well maintained and clean and the staff were overtly friendly and personable. Trust me when I say that the price of this resort is well worth it and you won’t find another one like it in Costa Rica."

"I liked the property, it was clean and safe. The shuttle was helpful. The front desk staff were friendly and kind. The buffet was not ready at 6:30 as stated and I had to leave for a tour in 20 minutes, the supervisor asked me to wait, which I did, but then after 5 minutes I saw most of the buffet was prepared minus the hot food, which I was not trying to have. I asked if I could proceed and he was rude, all I wanted was some coffee and fruit and it wasn't my problem it wasn't ready on time. I had a shuttle to catch, it would have been nice if the supervisor understood my situation. I was as patient as I could be given the time constraints."

"I like the whole experience starting from the airport to checking into the resort. The room was beautiful and what i love most about the room key was a magnetic bracelet. The food was delicious na variety everyday. The atmostphere was good relaxing n the entertaiment was wonderful. The tour guides for the activities were very knowledgable, speak english. The checkout of the resort was not stressful. I love it."

"Our family absolutely loved our stay at Tamarindo Diria. We are talking about coming back and inviting more family to join us. The hotel is beautiful. Rooms are simple and clean. We relished the ocean view with incredible sunsets and the waves. The breakfest buffet is extensive and fantastic with options for all types of eaters. We loved having the restaurant literally on the beach in the open air and enjoyed not only breakfast but nearly all of our meals there where you are able to order from menus from some of the surrounding establishments. The pool complexes are beautiful too. Parking was easy and staff were incredibly helpful. The beach was the highlight of our trip withsand, warm water, beautiful views and lovely storms at times. We rented surf boards and boogie boards and had excellent service and quality. Above all, the staff of Diria were delightful and we felt very much at home. They were caring and kind, warm and welcoming."
