"If you’re going for the views & the pool - it’s a great hotel. With that said the rooms need a full renovation. The AC leaks, the bathroom is very run down and the room has no furniture (other than a bed). The rooms are not great. Also - locals crash the pool (especially at sun set) and the hotel doesn’t do anything about it - making chairs sometimes hard to get. The AM breakfast was good though. "

"We had a fabulous stay in Playa Langosta. Stewart and Hans were great communicators, the condo was spacious and clean and extremely well located. We enjoyed the morning walks to see the Howler monkeys, the afternoons in the pool, and of course the sunsets on the beach. Highly recommend!"

"The condo had everything we needed for a great week in Tamarindo. We liked the quieter location away from the downtown area. It felt safe and was very clean. The beach right near the condo was fun for tide pooling with the kids and the pool was a convenient way to cool down in the afternoon! We had one issue with a toilet and Justin came quickly to fix it. "

"Staff was helpful, rooms clean, and amenities average. I would have liked to have a bed spread on the bed since my husband likes it cold, with the air conditioner really low, so I was freezing."

"We really enjoyed our location. Quieter then in the heart of Tamarindo yet not too far. There were 6 of us and it was perfect for us. The pool was very nice to relax in after a hot day "

"We had an amazing stay at Surfside Sands. The house was well laid out and nice to have separate bedroom entrances since we were three adult couples from the same family vacationing together. There were beach chairs for us to carry down to Playa Langosta beach which was always quiet for us and great sunsets. Tamarindo beach is a 15 minute walk and nicer for swimming but the constant vendors there is a bit of a bother. Plenty of restaurants in Tamarindo but recommend chef Daniel Rojas to come to the house for a private dinner. Don't miss Waffle Monkey for breakfast and Pangas for a good steak."
