We had a wonderful trip! Sol and Eduardo were the best hosts! They helped set up an amazing private tour to Lily cooked breakfast every morning and we are still dreaming about the amazing to go burrito she made for us

A slice of heaven on the beach

We had the most incredible experience at Sueño del Mar. The rooms are very clean, staff are SO friendly, breakfast is delicious, the pool and beach are pristine - we can't say enough good things about this hotel. We can't wait to come back!

The property was located right on the beach. It has a lot of character and the rooms were very attractive. Small, but very friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast was amazing. I will definitely stay when I return.

This is a lovely, well-maintained property with a lot of character. It feels secluded and private, yet it is on the beach (amazing sunsets!) and walkable to Tamarindo. The staff is outstanding, from manager Eduardo to chef Lily (such delicious breakfasts!) and groundskeeper Randy (and all others!). Loved Sueno del Mar and would definitely stay again.

Sueno Del Mar was truly a private paradise, walking 50 feet to enter the ocean is a truly special experience. Eduardo was amazing and prepared flowers and champagne for my engagement to my beautiful fiancé. The food was delicious every morning & and the pool was great after a hot day in sun. It was private and quiet and the shower w the hand painted tiles was our absolute favorite as well as the house cat. We look forward to getting married here hopefully next year. Thank you so much, from some New Yorkers!

Great location. Beautiful sunset. Comfy bed and room (stayed in the Luna suite). Super helpful with setting up airport transfer. Lily is the chef and her huevos rancheros are the best my husband and I have ever had. I want to come back and stay longer just to try more of her meals, which change daily! Such a cool area to stay in. People sell massages on the beach for as low as 30$/hr! Can walk to the night market (highly recommend), the food truck park with live music, grocery stores, restaurants, liquor stores and gift shops all within 30 minutes or less. Highly recommend!

This is an absolute GEM of a place in Tamarindo. The hotel is intimate and immaculate, with lovely touches like many shelves of communal board games and books, baskets of snorkel gear/water shoes/boogie boards to borrow, and beautiful local art. The pool is maintained throughout the day, multiple times, as are the stone paths. Not an hour went by without someone checking to be sure there wasn't a stray leaf out of place .The breakfasts were OUTSTANDING every day -- and the chef accommodated my dairy allergy perfectly. Our room was beautiful. I would absolutely come back - I miss it already!

I didn’t realize it was more of a B & B stay until we arrived. For the price we expected a grand lobby entrance etc. We quickly realized (when Edwardo called us by name) that this would be a much different stay! Suzanna gave us a tour of our amazing room and the rest of the grounds and we could not have been more pleasantly surprised! We stayed two nights in the Luna room, and wished we had stayed 4. The environment, accommodations, people, food,…I could go on…were exquisite and it was exactly what we didn’t know we needed. Thank you so much for some beautiful memories!

This was a great place to stay. Sol and Eduardo were excellent at making sure our needs were met. The amenities were top notch. They have a bookcase full of books to use and to donate to, an honor bar for those needing some alcoholic beverages, palatable breakfast items, pool, swings and cabanas and a fabulous view of the sunset.
