"This apartment was located just steps away from the waterfront in this seaside town. It was spacious, comfortable and had a well appointed kitchen with a washing machine (bonus!!). Our host was very friendly and pointed us to some great restaurants. Just one negative … because it is so central, the weekend evenings tended to be loud until around 11pm. "

We travelled with group of 4 persons and this was great fit for us as there was bathrooms and bedrooms for both couples and functioning kitchen. It was pleasant to sit outside the cottage and enjoy the lush greenery. It's best not to let kids wander up the driveway toward the main house as there are large guard dogs that can surprise you."

"Hotel was centrally located in downtown Funchal. A five minute walk to the city centre. Room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the street. Breakfast buffet was excellent with a variety of hot and cold options. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool deck on the rooftop was a great place to unwind at the end of the day. I would have preferred the pool bar to be open however it wasn’t and it was a very minor inconvenience to get the elevator down to the main bar on level 0. If you are using a rental car I would suggest you confirm a parking place with the hotel (20 euro per day) as parking is very limited in the area. I will definitely stay here again!!"
