「Palmera inn is one of the best values on Hilton head for what you get. The king balcony room was huge with two full bathrooms, living area, balcony, and kitchenette. Their location is just minutes to everything and they even allowed us to check ins couple hours early which was nice! 「There was an unpleasant smell in the room, a musty smell. The air conditioner is entirely inside the room, both the indoor and outdoor units, and it hums very loudly. During our 5-night stay, the room was only cleaned once. Although we were told that housekeeping would be every other day. 「We had no issues. I like that the rooms did not have carpet. For the price we paid the rooms were better than most motels. It is right off the interstate so it was easy to access. I would definitely stay there again. The man that worked the front desk was very nice also.」

「Room was extremely musty. Shower was clogged. Check in was a nightmare had to return to the desk 3 times to get a room key that worked. Hotel clerk indicated that I would get Hilton Honors points to my account which wasn't the case.」

「Did not like the pool bar line. The line would get to about 10 people consistently at the busy time of day. I timed the wait and it was around a 15 to 20 minute wait for a drink in 107 real feel temperature. They should double up the pool walk up bar staff. They would double their revenue.」
