"Lovely resort with friendly staff and a great buffet breakfast. Right on the beach and close to other eating places and shops. Rooms were large, clean and glass water bottles were refilled daily. Turndown service included a small gift each evening which was nice. Live music downstairs and an activity to do each day as well as a games area. Restaurants looked nice but were a bit too expensive for us."

"Beautiful 5 Star resort. Our pool villas were immaculate. The beach was outstanding and the pool was massive. I loved the efficiency of the buggy’s driving us around this huge resort. The breakfast buffet was next level. Everything was beautiful except for the prices of food and drinks within the resort. After spending two weeks in other parts of Vietnam, it was a rude shock to see the prices set by this resort. Daylight robbery! As lovely as this resort was, I will not be returning as it lacked any Vietnamese authenticity. It was just another 5 star resort without much character. "

"Beautiful view of the pool and beach from balcony. While not in the heart of Phu Quoc, it was nice to be a short distance away in the quiet and was a cheap taxi to anywhere. Still had easy access to shops, atms, night markets. The hotel and surrounds were very clean and well-landscaped. Staff were very friendly. I had the half-board option and it was a three course meal either lunch or dinner. Food was delicious. Pool bar was great and foam party and entertainment for kids was great. Rooms were well-equipped and house cleaning was wonderful. Definitely recommend Best Western Sonasea."

"We only used airport shuttle for return trip to airport which was great. Our view from our balcony looked over city but we enjoyed being able to sit outside . Hotel was spotless and they offered a good travel fesk with drivers on hand"
