「We were in the area visiting family and had a wonderful time! The house is cozy, comfortable, clean and well appointed. It is close to everything. We walk to downtown, walked to Church on Sunday, sat on the small porch with our coffee and just thoroughly enjoyed out time in Opelika. We loved that it is very close to Auburn!! Thank you Diane for making your home available. We will be back! 」

「The place was perfect for visiting our daughter at Fort Benning. Even though the front door lock had gone dead you were easily contacted and resolved the issue within minutes. Thank you so much for helping us with our personal issue we had! It was definitely not your responsibility, but helped us out greatly. 」

「There were bugs in the bed the bedrooms windows were busted out the grout was full of mold in the bathroom and the TVs did not work or have remote」

「Our trip was so much fun! The property was beautiful and well maintained. The house was very clean and beautiful. I loved everything about it. Everything was labeled and so organized. The docks were great. Our teens loved the kayaks and the paddle boat. My son and his family stayed in the Blue Heron and loved their stay also. It was nice to have 2 houses to accommodate our family. We will definitely return next summer. I would highly recommend this cottage. 」

「Diamond in the rough. This was a first time staying in a house instead of a hotel. Pulling into the neighborhood the family was a bit weary. Kids fighting. Skunk smell about. But I noticed one of the neighbors had an Astrovan with big chromed out wheels so I was pumped! House was great and we loved it. Very comfy and would recommend again.」

「Home was clean, stocked and as advertised! Host was available as needed (trouble shooting the TV). Only nuances, the neighborhood is run down, neighbors had very noisy dogs - while the home was pet friendly, eveytime we took our dog out the neighbor dogs barked continuously. Not the hosts fault, maybe a privacy fence or some privacy landscaping could help. We had two families one with a baby, the layout is tight, so if baby was up, so was everyone else. Last comment, says it sleeps six. But...

「Visited on my husband’s break in between turning green ceremony and AIT and it was perfect! Safe and quiet neighborhood which I was worried about! It was the perfect distance away from fort Moore but close to restaurants and shops. Host was so helpful and quick in responding! 11/10 recommend, booking again for future Columbus stays!!」
