"Our only negative is the location of the property on a major road... difficult to get out with the traffic. Otherwise this house is a gem and the reviews do it justice - spacious, well appointed, everything you need, great for visiting surrounding areas. Shame we came in winter and couldn't also enjoy the fabulous garden too!"

"The stables was in an ideal location for exploring East Sussex and Kent with lots of nearby attractions. The White Hart inn next door is a family owned village pub with lots of character, good beer and food. The accommodation was ideal for a couple. The open kitchen /longe was very well equipped with the added bonus of French windows onto a small patio area with outside seating.
Very difficult to find any faults as is highly recommended we would certainly stay here again."

"Clean and warm cottage in the center of town, very quirky but a nice environment, it is on one of the few roads running through Rye so does suffer from some traffic noise although not too intrusive. Everything was in order on our arrival so all in all a nice place to stay. "

"The Annex was lovely and clean with everything that was needed in the kitchen. We were close to shops and the beach, with the option to travel in to near by towns which weren’t too far away. Great location for our dog too as she had the freedom of the garden. Lovely place to stay and would stay here again 😊"

"If you want to get away from it all & enjoy the peace of the Sussex countryside the Cart Lodge is perfect. Great little cottage, which is well equipped & in a good location to explore East Sussex.
The sheep in the field are great fun, demanding their biscuits as you sit & enjoy the sun.
Thanks Nina for a great week"

"Rooms are not that great, they are really budget. No fridge or closet, just beds and a small table. Bathroom was okay and well equipped. Staff was super friendly and helpful. There was no breakfast for us because we booked through this platform, even though it said it was included."
"Basic room for the price
A bit of a maze to find your room
Great location but thats all it has going for it. In contrast to the harbour hotel in richmond this is nowhere near that standard. But disappointing.
Also at 3am we awoke to the banging and clashing of trash from a local bar that went on for ages. Terrible stay in honest. Will stay at another hotel the next time we go. They also do let you know until youre there, that there is a £10pp charge to use the facilites per day. I wish I'd have known that before. "
