「I dislike seeing bad reviews that knit pick everything. This is an older hotel that could use an update; however, for the price we paid I didn’t expect the Ritz or the Four Seasons, which is what negative reviewers always seem to want.
The gentleman who checked us in was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was nice with crisp, clean sheets, a comfortable mattress and nice bedding. We spent two nights here and had no issues. The breakfast was good with a friendly attendant. The workout room...
「The room was clean. The front desk was very helpful. The water pressure was very low in the bathroom! Our key cards did not work in the main doors to come in didn't work. 」
「Just off of the interstate with access to multiple places to stock up on a trip, get some gas, or grab something to nearby. We ate the the walk-able Cracker Barrel after check-in and had the breakfast buffet at the Holiday Inn Express the next day. There's even a pool.
Staff were very friendly and everything was clean. We sat in the lobby chatting with people with free coffee and lots of seating. A positive experience. 」
「The building, room/bed, pool/hot tub, and staff were all as expected or better. My only complaint is that 3 screaming kids monopolized the pool and hot tub after 8 p.m. when I just wanted to soak quietly after a long day at work. You could also use better lighting in the back parking lot and get an ice machine on each floor. Otherwise, my stay was great!」
