"When we entered, the house was so inviting and the home was exactly how they described. It was very clean, beds were so comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and the AC was cold and kept the house extremely comfortable. What stood out was the little things. There was coffee, cream, and sugar which paired perfectly with the bag of local cookies they had for us (so good). The bathrooms all had high quality soap and shampoo. Oh, I forgot to mention the communication with the host was outstanding. If you’re ever in Hilo, I highly recommend staying here. You won’t be disappointed.."

"Rooms are average size.and comfortable. However there is little storage space to unpack our clothes and stow our luggage so our room felt more cramped. The location is great with good restaurants nearby and the hotel restaurant is also delicious. Pool area was nice we.spent every afternoon there after coming back from excursions. Staff on site is friendly. Would stay here again."

"We enjoyed our stay at this clean, thoughtfully decorated, and conveniently located residence. It was somewhat difficult to find the first time due to all the cars parked on the road, making the driveway hard to find. However, once we found it, we were easily able to find our parking spot and get into the home thanks to the directions sent from Simone. The home is very cozy and we enjoyed our stay. We were thankful for the earplugs as the frogs are quite loud at night."

"This is a gem of a house - a true find. My husband and I went to Hilo with four of our grown children to visit family. The house is one of three in a beautiful tropical setting behind a very secure gate. The house is simple, clean, and had plenty of everything we needed like towels, dishes, and bedding. It was truly a haven to return to each day. We walked to great coffee, Thai food, and First Friday Arts Festival. When I had questions (wanted early check in, couldn’t figure out the keypad at first, etc), the staff responded to my texts instantly. We all hope to stay here again!"

"Great location and well stocked quirky and old-school funky apartment! Loved it, and was a perfect base for the three of us for a week in Hilo! Not a fancy place, but had everything we needed and was well stocked and had nice touches like a lot of plugs around! Nice and helpful host, too! Would stay again on a return trip!"
