Additionally, some nice surprises like cookies, coffee, loaner umbrellas, and an excellent guidebook for our use in planning our activities.Easy parking provided. Excellent communication with owner. "We liked the room and liked the location - just steps to the Farmer's Market. This is more of a note to Expedia than to the Hilo Downtown Inn. This is the second place we have rented through Expedia that didn't tell us we'd need to negotiate stairs. My wife has trouble navigating stairs. I think the property and Expedia have an ethical and perhaps legal obligation to inform potential renters about the stairs."

"This condo was a great location for us to stay to explore the Hilo area and also to go to Volcanoes National Park. The condo was well located, very clean and well appointed. The air conditioning in the bedrooms made sleeping very comfortable. However, the living and dining rooms did not cool down and were uncomfortably warm at times.We enjoyed exploring the Hilo area and the National Park was awesome!"
