「Staying in the Lodge was special, with a four poster bed and spectacular views. Dinner in the Castle was wonderful. The food was excellent and it was enjoyable to mingle with the other dining guests. The breakfast was also very good. Overall our visit to the Castle exceeded our expectations and was good value for money. 」

「Our room (cottage) was perched 180 ft above the beach. It was perfectly outfitted with porch, kitchen, bedroom w king size bed. The bathroom was amazing with separate shower and toilet rooms. Both were overlooking the ocean and beach and entire grounds. The entire building was done in local, highly polished, hardwood. The downside is if you don’t have a car rental the taxi fare is 70,000 xfp so stay a few days.」

「This was an absolutely fantastic place to stay. What a gem! Sue Ellen could not have been more welcoming - even making a dinner reservation for us and updating the restaurant because we were running late. Rimu Lodge is delightful.
