Absolutely recommencd

The hotel staff were professional and courteous. Our room was awesome--quiet, convenient to a direct bus into town (Rte 3 or 3A), good walking distance to pub (Prince of Wales). Food was also good.

I had a lovely stay. Rooms were nice, although my shower area as a bit of a squeeze, especially when you consider I'm not a tall person at all, but that was OK. Comfy beds, quiet area. Friendly staff. Nice walks to the river.

Great Location for Oxford

The staff were all friendly and helpful. the hotel is well appointed and very clean. A great location only a short walk from the lovely Iffley village and lock on the Thames

we stayed here for a couple of nights whilst seeing a show in Oxford. The hotel is in a quiet location approx 1.8 miles from Oxford City centre. There is a very pleasant walk along the Thames into the city (takes approx 30 mins)or the hotel is well served with several buses. The staff were very friendly, the room was nice and breakfasts were also very good. If returning to Oxford, i would more than happily use the hotel again

This is a really lovely hotel in a good location. The restaurant food food was delicious. However this was the first time in my three week visit to the UK that a service charge was added to the restaurant bill. Not sure why this occurs - please include your costs in your meal prices, rather than adding extra after the meal.

Schönes Hotel und gut gelegen. Man kann knapp 30min zu Fuß an der Themse spazieren. Die Zimmer waren okay, sauber und das Personal fast durchgängig super hilfsbereit. Die Qualität vom Dinner war leider nur mäßig und die Pizza leider echt schlecht. Empfehlen kann man das Hotel aber auf jeden Fall, wenngleich knapp 600€ für zwei Übernachtungen auch nicht gerade wenig ist.

Fantastic stay from start to finish, free parking on site which was great for us. Staff were friendly and helpful, only stayed for 2 nights but were given fresh towels on our second day which was amazing. Lovely walk along the river into the centre (note it does take 35-40 minutes).

Courteous staff at reception, easy checking in. Gorgeous room , big comfy bed, massive telly, immaculate throughout. Very comfortable night… The bars not very well stocked :-(
