"The room was big and the shower and bathroom were separated. Amenities were very thoughtful, like face mask and bath bubble. The location was 10 minutes away from Nishiki Market. I would go back and stay more. "

Incredible staff, gorgeous hotel, and the on site restaurant is incredible for dinner, and even a good breakfast buffet. "Love that this ryokan had halal meal options! The entire place is gorgeous with a beautiful view of Lake Biwa. Easy to get to (they have a shuttle bus from the train station). If you have a private onsen, just know that the shower is also outside. No other options, unless you use the public bath."
