"Very large and comfortable room. Easy and helpful technology to operate features in the room. Exceptional breakfast with lots of choices. Convenient location next to the train. Was easy to take a train to the Locarno city center in under 15 minutes. Transportation is included with the Ticino pass so request it from the front desk. Recommend this property."

"The hotel is in a great location! We stayed 6 nights and the staff were extremely helpful with dinner reservations, tickets and recommendations. The hotel is not air conditioned and sleeping was a little uncomfortable but fans were installed in our room to make our stay more pleasant. The breakfast is outstanding. The hotel provided transfers to/from Tasch - it was executed perfectly. Our shower and linens were wonderful. Our check-in could have been smoother but in light of our overall stay I still rank the hotel and experience very high."

"I had a wonderful stay at this SCHLOSS Zermatt - CBD & Adaptogenic Spa and Sport Hotel in Zermatt, The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious food options to choose from. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommend!"

Grand Hotel Dino

"Overall a fantastic hotel. Great breakfast. Pool was amazing with a good amount of sunbeds. It got very busy on the weekend compared to the weekdays. We felt that given the heatwave when we stayed they should have given us bottled water everyday not just randomly on 2 days as they appeared to do. Also there were a lot of corporate events on during the weekdays. The pool bar is very, very expensive. There is a supermarket bearby that is about 8 min walk but they lock you out of the minibar and you have to request access - so you can’t easily chill drinks. Also they add 5% service charge for your stay and they tell you this at checkout. They do say it’s optional but you feel obliged to pay it. Along with city taxes this can add a significant amount to your bill so be aware!"

Hotel Butterfly

10/10 Excellent

"Conveniently located a 5 min walk from the train station, Hotel Butterfly met our needs for three adults in one room. The city is walkable in general or there are golf carts to drive you around if needed but it was certainly nice to be right next to the train. The hotel had a decent breakfast and to our delight, an afternoon tea with live music which we enjoyed after our day of hiking. There was no air conditioning so we had to leave the windows open at night and were awakened by the goats walking down the street at 6:00am, but other than that, we can't complain!"
