It is walkable to just about everything you could possibly want to do in the area, including but not limited to: a nice beach with volleyball nets, many shops, MANY fine art galleries, food spots, dessert spots, walking trails, and more. The location feels generally very safe and although the parking was a bit tough to locate, no issues at all once I knew where to pull in. 「The cottage was the perfect place to stay to enjoy Laguna Beach. A quick walk to the beach and downtown, close drive to hiking trails and amazing scenery. Everything on the “business side” was easy (communication, check-in/check-out) and the cottage was clean and the perfect size for our group of 6. Definitely recommend!」
