Hanamurasaki is beautiful in almost every way. The rooms are huge and gorgeous, everything is spotlessly clean, and the location relative to the river and the rest of town is perfect. Our room had a private outdoor mineral bath. Yes, it’s very expensive, but we definitely feel like it was a worthy experience. We had omakase dinners five of our first 10 nights in Japan and our only complaint about Hanamurasaki would be that the omakase dinners were a little too hard-core Japanese for us. Most of...

This is a 5-star hot springs/onsen resort tastefully decorated, beautifully maintained and luxurious in every way. You won't regret staying here! We loved every moment here and wished we could have stayed longer.

OK. I have done it. A straight 'full-marks' across the board. From the moment we checked in, this place has been a delight. Rooms are impeccable. Staff work hard to get you where you need to be. The documents supplied on what is offered in the area were tremendous. If you are here to relax in the summer or ski in the winter, this is a gem of a place to stay. There are only 10 rooms or so, so you are not fighting a crowd. Breakfast is more than enough to get you through the start of the day and...

The one night stay at this Japanese onsen hotel was very pleasant. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Staff were very helpful and courteous.
The hotel is only 20 minutes by bullet train from Kanazawa train station. Hotel provided free shuttle pick up from the Kaga Onsen train station.

Well presented and maintained smallish hotel with massive teak furniture all around. Rooms clean and comfortable.
Near Hirugano Kogen ski park (although not a walking distance if carrying skis and gear) is a bit off the tracks. After a day in the ski fields, spa at level 5 is a great way to end the day.
Japanese style dinner, included in the price is an 8-course meal that will stuff you well. Japanese breakfast is as if intended to keep you full until dinner.
The restaurant is with chairs...

Love these properties. They all are the same so you know what you get. The beds are soooo comfy! There is good coffee, tea, and miso soup packet 24 hours a day. It was extremely clean. My only thing I didnt like is they lock the AC at 23 and it was so warm i couldn’t sleep. The next day they unlocked it for me and i slept perfectly. Staff was very polite. Wifi worked well, shower pressure was great. They also have breakfast set deals at a nearby restaurant , but i saw it too late to use it.
