"The king size room was very comfortable with a large, soft bed that was perfect for my husband and I (both tall people). The soaps and other thoughtful amenities were perfect if you forgot anything. The buffet breakfast has so many options and a morning at the onsen was so worth it! It’s worth mentioning that you don’t have to transfer on any trains to get to the hotel it is just a short walk from baggage claim through the airport garden. We will happily be back!"

"I enjoyed my stay, the only downside was I could never get an iron for my clothing. I used it the first day and every time I called it wasn’t available. I don’t think hotel guest should have to be with an iron. That she be an absolute. "

"Proximity to Shinagawa train station is the primary reason for staying here. There is a direct train to Haneda airport within walking distance and it's only 330 yen. It's also one of the stations to catch the Shinkansen. Rooms are small. If you have a larger roller bag, there's no where to leave it open without it getting in your way. Traveling with disabilities or as a senior? My bathroom had a big step up to get into it and the shower/tub short, but deep. My parents did not shower out of fear of tripping/falling getting into/out of the tub. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash included. Imabari towels. The two beds option makes it a very small space for two American-sized adults. Breakfast is great, the earlier you eat. They ran out of eggs before 8:30 am. "

"Tokyo Stay Gotanda was perfect for our 2 week stay in Tokyo! First of all, Gotanda station is a 3 minute walk making it super easy to get around by train. The peace and quiet is unmatched to other hotels. Tokyo Stay is so quiet that I never heard one other person outside our room during the 2 weeks we were there. I really loved that our room had a window that opened and allowing fresh air in. I'm not a fan of being trapped on a top floor with no outside air. The room was definetely a bit smaller than what I think US visitors are used to but that's normal for Tokyo hotels if you're on a budget. Staff were friendly and welcomed us back every evening. Overall, if you're looking for quiet, low cost and a convenient location to stay near Tokyo proper, Tokyo Stay Gotanda is perfect. I read that Gotanda Station gets risky at night, but I never saw anything unsavory. We even arrived at 1am the first night and felt totally safe. 10/10 would recommend for your first, or any visit!"

"This is NOT a five-star hotel. There are reviews that state the hotel is a bit outdated and needs a refresher. That is an understatement. Just absolutely misleading. It is a 3 1/2 star hotel at best. An it would be just fine for a 3 1/2 star, but this is absolutely a disappointment believing you are getting and paying for a five star hotel. "

"Easy check in. Rooms were clean and spacious. Bathroom facilities also clean and spacious. Nice to have toiletries provided (razors, shave cream, brush, toothbrush and toothpaste, facial wash and cream, body towel). Provided PJs were clean and only one size provided. Material was a little rough and itchy. Breakfast buffet was only by reservation, which we didn't realize when trying to eat there for breakfast. Airport shuttle was handy and the main reason we chose this hotel for our last night in Tokyo. Area is mostly residential. Less than 10 min to subway. Beautiful parks nearby with several playgrounds within 5-10 min. "
