The area is safe and quiet, away from the crowd around Matsumoto station. The staff is very helpful. Breakfast is reasonably priced and is okay. The room is clean and has what we needed for our stay. "There are two Englishlanguage channels on TV, CNN-J and NHK ( dubbed). But there is no instruction how to select English. As default, CNN is in dubbed Japanese."

Staff are very friendly and helpful in providing info on Alpine Route. Has an onsen, rooms are decently sized & clean. Many good restaurants, supermarket, drug store, Daiso all within walking distance. "
