"The staff was great, very friendly. The room size was great but unfortunately, the order from the room was unappealing, which was understandable, as they were out of non-smoking rooms. Overall, great place to stay. "

"This is actually a motel, not a hotel it has this weird smell. It’s probably the plumbing. None of the amenities that are on this site and the pamphlet that they give you in your room are available. They don’t have free bikes, the guy who was working at night didn’t even know anything about a pool we found out about the pool last night. We were there from some other guest parking is horrible. There’s no way to heat up your food or your food so if you eat out, make sure you eat it all. Don’t bring anything back. We were kept up all night by the people above us. I had to call the office multiple times and go there multiple times and nothing was done. I can’t say It’s an OK area to be in. Just make sure you’re not traveling alone at night. They definitely need some change a lot of things and update the site and let people know that they do not have a lot of things that they claim their offering. A lot of people were canceling their booking once they got there and found out. It’s not how they made it seem online. Definitely very upset with the amount of money that I paid for this and it wasn’t really worth it"

"Oasis at Gold Spike definitely interesting. Its location is great- on Ogden and 1 block from the craziness on Fremont. I stayed in the Gold Spike building on 3rd floor. Gold Spike is a 24/7 bar and club, but I never heard sounds from the club at night (i heard car sounds which are ubiquitous in LV); the bar is great- indoor and outdoor sections with many legacy bar games- all free or reasonably priced. Sat night seemed to be a little crowded but typically the space is not crowded at all- inside or outside. Staff was very friendly and informative. I'd definitely stay there again"

"We loved our room--it was quiet and very comfortable. We loved the shower water pressure!! The only thing we noticed all the way up on the 26th floor was an almost constant disco drum beat from club-like music. But our view of the stadium pool and Las Vegas was cool. On our next trip to Las Vegas, we will stay closer to the strip, because that is where we seemed to have the most fun with shows and shopping. This is a great hotel for gambling and sensing the overall casino stimulation!!!"
