"Oldfashioned charm but with modern rooms. Worth a visit if only for the historic importance at the Avus racing track. Did not have breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment. Restaurant also oldfashioned but very much ok, cheap also. Room fairly priced. One drawback, totally unacceptable today, is that the hotel didn´t provide wi-fi. "

"The staff were very helpful and kind. The entry system with key fob was well explained. The room as clean enough but the bathroom in particular needed more work. Our shower drain was very very slow, something which should have been picked up when it was being cleaned so it makes you wonder. Staff was good at repairing it the same day. The elevator was not working which was a disappointment. The smell of marijuana being smoked did not create the best atmosphere either. All this aside it was...

"The room was clean and warm. Little bathroom but lovely shower. Cleaned every day. Convenient for the ubaban station. Shops bars and cafes close by."

"The hotel was dated, but reasonable for the price paid. Beds were very comfortable and the room was cleaned daily. Breakfast very good with plenty of choices. Staff don't speak very good English and sometimes a little abrupt. Plenty of cafés, restaurants, bars and shops nearby. Location was next to S-Bahn station, so easy to get into the centre of Berlin and attractions. "
