「I was on a biking adventure, an annual thing that happens around my birthday, and looking for a place to stay in Lake County. Thorn Hill is in a beautiful location that also happened to be convenient for me.」
「Our stay was enjoyable. The staff was terrific. The hallway was quiet, and the room was clean. The first time we stayed, the room was not cleaned well. I would say that they could update some of the furniture. The king-size bed seemed larger than a standard king. The bed was really firm, also. 」
「Stopped for one night on our way from Lassen Volcanic Park to Fort Bragg. We just loved this hotel! So comfortable and beautifully decorated. The staff was very nice and the wonderful pool was a plus. I highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful place to stay in Upper Lake」
「I loved the cottage I stayed in! Having a kitchenette, porch, A/C were awesome! The only issues were; no screen on door; shower curtain rings wouldn't stay in place.
Also fun were mini-golf, badminton, hot tub, pool, paddle boat.

「The rooms at the Rainbow Lodge are undergoing a significant upgrade. As we arrived, they were just re-hanging the door to our bathroom. Charles, the manager, does a great job of managing the work, and we were very comfortable with the accommodations. Our room was freshly painted, with new linen on the bed and blackout curtains on the windows. It also looked like we had a new microwave and minifridge. The location is close to eating areas, and a restaurant is next door. This place is a good...

「This place is cute! I stayed In the tiny home for a night. Super comfortable and clean! The lake is directly across the street, which can be walked to or driven over to. It is a “private beach” entrance reserved for the RV park/tiny home users. Although people can easily swim or board over to the beach, it was nice and clean. We will definitely be staying again but longer next time! So much better than a hotel!! 」
「There was an AM/PM conveniently located next door. It was a clean property, quiet and safe. Parking was easy. No complaints. Only thing I'd change is I wished there was a hot tub on location. 」
