"I didn’t go in the pool, but the two people that tended the place were very nice and I slept extremely well. It was quiet. But it’s out of the way of most things."

Only stayed one night. For those taking the Ekajaya fast ferry, it is less than a 5 minute walk, straight left out of the property. It is on the road so you can hear motorcycles during the day but still like a lovely little oasis of calm with a clean pool and pretty landscaping. Nice little open air dining area with books to borrow and very quiet at night. Because I was leaving early the staf. Got up and made me breakfast to go, even giving me a small to go coffee. They couldn’t have been...

depending on what you're doing in the area, this place may be your ideal homebase.
there is nothing touristy within walking distance, just a spa and a korean bbq place, also a convenience store next to the entrance.
kempinski and hilton are just across the street.

This is a great hotel across the street from the airport but the airport shuttle is not always reliable. (Think of the worst traffic you have ever been; things don't work smoothly.) We walked what Google indicated would be 10 minutes to the hotel. But there is a fence around the Bali airport, following the map is complicated, and you have to walk a block on a main road with no sidewalk. I'm not saying don't do it if you have a problem with hotel pick-up, I'm saying be aware of what you are...

We ended up here after a failed AirBNB. The hotel is very nice, with a lovely pool. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. Its location is perfect. The beach is a short walk. Tons of restaurants, shops, spas, and other services near by. Bike rental right next door. Great place, would stay again.
