"The room was clean, nice size tall fridge, heating plate, microwave and electric tea kettle. They even provided 2 hotel style robes for our stay. Tony, the owner was an excellent host and responded promptly to our messages. Love the convenient drive up to our lodging door and no steps for ease in unloading and loading car. The room tastefully decorated as well. We enjoyed the outdoor sitting area under a canopy with fire heater, comfortable chairs, Christmas music and Christmas tree. We did choose this place because the reviews were 9.6 and they earned it. Great location, just a mile or 2 to downtown Grass Valley. "

"Wonderful Stay! The hosts were fantastic - they promptly answered our questions prior to our arrival and during our stay. Excellent communicators, friendly, but not intrusive.The location was very private with beautiful trees, garden, and Koi pond. Due to the weather, we did not get to enjoy all of the wonderful amenities. The property is very close to a small prop engine airport and while you could hear them periodically throughout the day the noise was not intrusive and it was not an issue in the evening. The living area was spacious and comfortable. The bedroom is not connected to the living space and you must go outdoors to access the bedroom. The only bathroom is in the bedroom area. All in all, and most enjoyable stay! Thank you to the hosts!"
