We loved the property and location. Room was clean and comfortable. Can't wait for them to open up a restaurant there again. Looks like it would be awesome!

The inn is cute, and has potential to be much more. We stayed in a room with two queen beds. The room was clean and spacious and the staff were friendly. The worst part of the stay and probably the most important thing when looking for a hotel, was the beds. They were so uncomfortable, my 11 year old daughter, husband and myself stayed for two nights. All three of us had the worst sleep we've ever had in a hotel. We woke up with stiff necks, sore backs, hips and tiredness. The mattresses sat on a metal box spring, which made my daughters bed squeak every time she rolled over (ours didn't squeak, just hers).

This is a beautiful property to stay on and so affordable. Unfortunately we ended up with a room with a leaky toilet and it ran with a high pitched squeal every ten minutes or so. closing the pocket door helped a little but this seems like something that could be maintained better. There were also several black hairs on the walls in the shower telling me it must not have been cleaned after the last guest. It was still worth the visit and is a great affordable optio walking distance from downtown NV City.

Save yourself and book elsewhere!!!! The trash outside the rooms where over flowing and looked like they hadn’t been emptied in weeks!!!! Trash stacked up the side! The rooms…disgusting. I didn’t even want to put my bags down! Looked like something out of a murder movie! I ended up booking 2 more rooms at the best western bc NO WAY would I let me family stay there!!

Woman who greeted me at registration was unfriendly and told me I had to wait at least 2 hours to check in (this after a 9 hour drive to get there). When i went back in Abby was very sweet and found me an open cabin. Couch and carpeting were filthy and there was mold in the shower.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunatly the cabin was extremely gross and we left right after arriving and stayed at a different place. It is important to understand you get what you pay for the rooms are cheap for a reason.

This was a lovely hotel in the beginning! It’s too nice and it’s a rare setting to be let go. Our room was perfectly clean, but I stepped outside and almost tripped over a tree stump. I could have been badly injured. The parking was close, thank you for your great service.

The lodging is in an absolutely beautiful, peaceful setting, with a historic train car on the property, complete with narrative to read, and surrounded by a variety of pines & firs & other mountain greenery. The staff was helpful, especially with regard to finding places in the historic small city. Unfortunately, the room we were in was not in the best repair, with a shaggy shower curtain & a closet where the bottom of the door was not attached to the floor. Looked like it could use some touch up painting as well. If I were to go there again, I think I would check the room first & ask for another if it was not up to par!
