「The bathroom in the room need renovation since it not functional and extremely old. Also don't expect hot water for your shower between 10AM and 4pm since they shut it down during that time. It also a little bit noisy due that you are on the corner two major roads. So overall if I had to go back to La Fortuna I would choose another hotel.」

「Our family loved our stay at the Volcano Lodge. It was close to Fortuna and had an incredible view of the volcano. The pool and the 3 thermal hot springs areas were magical. The swim up bar in the hot spring pool was very unique. Breakfast was very tasty each morning and the staff was super friendly. Our bungalow room opened up on a patch of forest where we’d sit on chairs and watch a parade of exotic birds and butterflies fly by. We would highly recommended it!」

「Facilities were nice. Love the pool bar and many hot spring pools and different temps. Breakfast buffet was good. Bar food was not good. Didn’t eat lunch or dinner in the main restaurant so can’t speak on how they are. Price point is great for the property and value you receive」

「This was the 2nd time we have stayed there. We returned because of the amazing experience the 1st time last year and we got the same amazing stay this year. I think they are always cleaning and taking care of the property, so rooms and hotel look amazing. The entire staff are friendly, welcoming, talkative and go out of their way to to ensure a good trip. They learn your name, even when only staying a few days. I would definitely recommend staying there. 」
