"Mein Mann und ich haben drei wunderbare Wochen in der Casa de Ponte verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr sauber, liegt ruhig und ist gut ausgestattet. Man findet Gewürze, Essig und Öl, Küchenrolle, Spüli, Seife, Waschmittel und noch einiges mehr. Bettwäsche und Handtücher werden wöchentlich gewechselt. Zur Begrüßung stand ein gut gefüllter Obstkorb in der Küche. Auf der oberen Terrasse gibt es Liegen, Tisch, Stühle und einen Sonnenschirm. "Leontina is a delightful host! The property is on the top floor of her home with astounding views across the valley and to the ocean. Everything meticulously clean and everything you could need provided including wood burner. Traditional decor, beds very comfy. The road outside is very steep- my 80+ year old parents managed but might not be suitable for anyone with mobility problems. Thank you so much we loved our stay and your kindness shone through x"

"Part II of my Review The small community of Loreto where the Casa is located, has one main street with several bars, an appliance shop, a market, and a grocery store. The grocery is well stocked (and there is also a chain of large modern groceries scattered around the island). We enjoyed Sunday service at the Catholic Church in town with its outside pews. "The garden was lovely with a nice secluded spot for sunbathing. The house was nice. The balcony having lovely views over towards the sea. The locals are very friendly. However the house was a little dusty and there could be more attention to the cleaning in the bedroom. The washing machine was not working which was more of an inconvenience."

"What a fantastic calming sea view this little cottage offers! We loved waking up to the sounds of the waves crashing down below & watching the gorgeous sunset from the privacy of our patio. The location feels like we truly are on our own little island. Unless we drove out into the villages/towns, some days we wouldn't see another person. So peaceful! Bruno met us at check-in & kindly guided us to the cottage. He showed us where things were located around the cottage which we found very helpful....

The location was also superb and close to a wonderful local coffee shop, restaurants and beautiful views. The house is so comfortable and clean. The pool was also a nice addition to our stay. "What an awesome stay! The place is nestled in the mountains a few km above Sao Vicente. You’ll need wheels! It is a typical village surrounded by locals - not a tourist in site. The perfect getaway!
