「This motel far exceeded our expectations. The owner was helpful and very accommodating. The room was crisp and clean. The bed was comfortable. The only thing that was lacking was the hot water did not get hot enough for us. Breakfast at the bar was great, making this get away perfect.」

「Quick business stay. The room accommodations and view were amazing. I noted there was a restaurant on site but was disappointed that it was not open during my stay. I had to drive quite a distance to find a restaurant. If I had known it was closed during my stay I would have prepared or stayed somewhere else. 」

「It eas a clean room but in need of updates. It was like it was when I was here in the ‘70s. The best thing was it was quiet & the mattresses were good, but they need new pillows!」

「My wife and I were travelling and only looking for an overnight stay with bed and bathroom. No frills needed. This was perfect and should our path ever take us this way again, we'd certainly stay there again. Great value compared to "name brand" hotels up and down the interstate. 」

「 Nice and close to beautiful Lake Superior. Room was comfortable. The baseboards had paint splotches on them from when wall was painted. The tub caulking was dirty yellow . No microwave.」

「I was traveling with my dog. My room was located on the lakeside of the property which was a nice touch. I was able to walk my dog easily to the lake and enjoy the view. The only issue I had was that my room was surounded by a crew of people that woke me up at 5:30 am with tons of slaming, banging and stomping while they were getting ready for work. This was on a Sunday morning... Other than that... I was pleased with the place. 」
