「I really enjoyed being right on the lake with access to kayaks. It’s the perfect spot for a good few to spend a quiet getaway. The town over is about 8 minutes away with lots of unique places to visit. Plus the beds are very comfortable. Furhermore, if you are considering a winter getaway I believe it would be a fantastique stay for that as well with the quaint electric fire place.」

My brother and I enjoyed our stay and met the owners *who gave me a ride back up the hill when I forgot my keys! I would recommend to anyone looking for a Cabot Trail basecamp! 」

「Unique property, staff was friendly and accommodating and there was a nice breakfast provided in the morning. Kids liked staying here, as there were 3 beds in our room so they didn't have to share. Our only complaint would be the bugs and spiders in the room. It is a "cottage style" vibe, so if you are looking for fancy, it might not be your place.」

「This was an amazing property. Well maintained. Clean and great facilities. Lisa was amazing and other staff were very friendly. We did the trail to the brook and it was nicely marked. Getting up the hill was a challenge with heavy bags so consider taking staff up on offered assistance. Will for sure recommend this to others if they are traveling in the area.」
