Lackadaisical and disappointing.

Comfortable room with sea view masked by dirty windows caused by sea spray. Radiators in the rooms have no mechanism for controlling the heating. Mine was so hot on arrival needed an engineer to attend with spanner to turn off the radiator. Staff friendly and helpful. Needed as seemed to lack managerial direction. Worst breakfast I've had in a long time. Self service which not Covid reassuring, hot food cold and pastries left uncovered and been out hours. Bread wrapped in plastic. How many people will have touched and breathed over before me? Thankfully only stayed 1 night.

Hotel needs a revamp, lovely view from the front of the building but the back view was unpleasant to look at, breakfast was okay and evening meal,s was nice, the hotel had no lift and we was on the 3rd floor, carpet was dirty going up the stairs and the room carpet.

I requested the seaview for my room, the lead booker! Wasn't changed. Don't understand this happened in the first place! I called prior to my arrival but the person I spoke with, said they couldn't do it. When we arrived the two girls at front of house, messing around, said, "sorry, we're busy doing squats", not very professional. Our room was directly above the kitchen fan which made our room vibrate. We asked if we could move. They said, "no, all the rooms were booked out!" I felt the front desk were rude, hostile and lacked people skills and professionalism. I will not be returning.

Very helpful and kind staff. Clean and comfy bed.Our room’s view was perfect with sea view. The only thing room doesn’t have refrigerator and we couldn’t use anything cold in the hot weather. Hotel doesn’t have lift but staff helped us to bring our luggage to room. Check in is very late at 3 pm, could have been at 12am. Check out was early for us 10 am. It’s location was better than perfect, just 5 min to most beautiful beach!

Our room was spacious and had a great sea view which we were not expecting. The bed was comfy and got a good nights sleep. The bar area was ok to sit and chill out in and the location of the hotel was fantastic right on the sea front. Biggest problem was the building next door had works going on which started at around 8.30am so if you like to sleep in till noon this would be a problem. However this is obviously only temporary and not really the hotels fault.

Great stay on a wonderful holiday!

Clean, modern, good hotel. Stayed there for 5 days. Receptionists were lovely and very helpful and accommodating. Room was modern and clean, with comfy bed. Bathroom was clean and modern, with big shower (although could have been more powerful). Small amount of parking at the front but we were able to get a space. Breakfast was tasty - good selection of cooked, continental, and lovely pastries and fruit! The waiter on Tuesday and Wednesday was particularly polite and provided great service. Overall, great stay!

Disappointing experience

I’m an international traveller from budget to 5 star hotels. Room was very small as well as shower. It was our anniversary and I informed reception but they did not upgrade. I parked car on-site parking bay, receptionist told me to move car as space paid by another guest but the space was empty while night even when I checked out this morning. Check out receptionist was ignoring me as I had to inform her 3 times I want to check out to get attention. The overall experience was very disappointing and extremely overpriced for a very poor hotel at £170 per night. I will not recommend this and I will never stay in the hotel again.

Breakfast good. Staff friendly. Room a superb size and nicely decorated. Room not properly cleaned. Bathroom windows painted up and would not open. no extractor. No water pressure so shower not very good and hand basin a trickle. Bedroom windows only opened a couple of inches. Bits of toilet paper on bathroom floor and toilet pan not cleaned properly. No lift and second floor room. Only a few parking places to pre book and had to find off street parking some distance away and this was in low season.
