「We stayed at Pinewood Lodge for 7 days split over 2 weeks. The area was lovely , very quiet. There is a number of lodges , each having everything you need from a fridge to a microwave, fresh clean towels and bedding, breakfast croissants were provided which was a nice touch and also some milk- again lovely touch.
The beds were fine - slightly uncomfortable, however, given the amount of people who sleep on them this i guess is a given at times.
Heating was great, easy to increase or decrease...
「I particularly liked that the stafff and customers of the Bridgehouse welcomed me. The place had the social feeling of what I think a good pub should be. The room was spacious, comfortable and quiet too.」
「Nice, clean with a nice local pub right across the courtyard. Very handy. However the pub is only open limited hours and no where else to eat within walking distance except a fish n chips joint. We stayed in apartment 3. Suited our family of 4 well, but note there is no mini fridge or micro that a family might hope for. Walls are thin too but not a big deal.

「Really lovely staff and the check in experience was very pleasant. The room was just about acceptable in terms of cleanliness but the toilet was not clean and still had used paper in it. The room and the surroundings were very tired and beyond worn in some places, especially the carpet on the stairs which was very dirty. As there was no breakfast, we could not comment on it. It’s such a shame because the setting is quite pleasant and it could be a lovely place to visit. 」
