Best beach in RI. Walk over to the Coast Guard House for a drink on the deck and make sure to try the "Stuffies."

Scarborough State Park has a nice clean beach with bathroom facilities, changing rooms and a snack bar. All you have to pay for is the very convenient and reasonably priced parking.
Wish we had known beforehand that unless you were a resident you couldn't park in the lots. We had to find street parking which limited us to only 2 hours and we ended up with a parking ticket.
$10 to park and $10 per person fee to enter the beach. We decided to go 2 miles down the road to the state beach and paid $12 to park but no fee to enter the beach.
Summer probably nicer but saw a beautiful rainbow
