「A one night stay plus breakfast. Good. No issues. Not that it was an issue for my stay but for future reference to consider permitting dogs. Maybe allocate some rooms for o/night stay with dogs. Wonderful countryside location. You advertise walks. Missing out on a key £ market!」

「The property has recently been purchased by a new owner who has started to modernise the building. The hotel room that we stayed in was very large with a very comfortable bed and plenty of furniture to store items for a longer stay. There were the usual refreshment facilities that were stocked up everyday and the room was nice and clean with an excellent bathroom. The staff were very welcoming, professional and always happy to serve. The restaurant food was very good quality and the portions...

「Strikingly looking hotel. Unfortunately on entering reception, we were greeted with a dirty carpet, which carries on into the bar area with lots of stains. Our room was up 2 flights of stairs, which I wasn't aware of when I booked. Therefore, in this heatwave, the room was an oven. There was a desk fan - 'thank goodness'. Pleased with the room, the layout and amenities. Curtains need seeing to, useless and need blackouts! All the staff were pleasant and hard working. Did not expect a buffet...
