Fantastic hotel and pub, very cosy and set in a fab location. The room we stayed in was delightful, very large with great amenities. Food was very tasty and the breakfast was plentiful and hot with a good variety of continental and hot breakfast items to choose from (full English including veggie option). Great to have onsite parking too. Will definitely be back thanks!

A very nice comfortable room, very clean with nice toiletries supplied. Free parking which may be limited at times. Excellent breakfast and a helpful staff. Hotel is quite old and a bit quirky so some rooms may be awaiting renovation I believe as there did seem to be different facilities in some but overall a very pleasant stay in a lovely little town

Everything about the kings head was to our liking. We had a wonderfully quiet room at the back and really comfortable beds with crisp white sheets. The breakfast was well cooked and the staff warm and friendly.

Lovely old building. Staff were excellent, helpful and cheerful. Very nice breakfasts, didn't dine there in the evening, so can't comment on the evening meals. Having parking to the rear was most useful, but has limited number of spaces. Only "negative" was being a very old property the stairs were a bit of a challenge if you are on the top floor.

Stayed here many times over the years, usually with our dog. The Kings Head always delivers, quite old fashioned inside but it adds to the charm, comfortable rooms, always friendly staff. Wouldnt stay anywhere else in Ross. Recommended

Easy parking and friendly breakfast staff . An extremely good base for exploring the area. An historic hotel so guests will forgive the creaky floorboards and unusually wayward floorboards. Clean and well provisioned,

Breakfast was fabulous and the bedroom was very clean. Bar had Aircon which was blissful with a temp of 32 degrees !! Staff went out of their way to help with the heat - fan in the room and a spare sheet so you didn’t have to use the quilt …. Much appreciated
