"The location was perfect for our stay. Room was clean and very comfortable. Check-in was courteous and our desk person Shamal was very friendly and helpful.
Not a fan of the parking fee. This is not disclosed on the reservation totals. We were told of the parking fee at the desk. What is one to do, you're there, where else would you park. Because of this, we would like to be refunded the parking fee incurred.
Other than that, everything was great.

"We had a spacious corner room with a view. Hotel was charming, with a great bar. Location just off Shattuck is great for walking up to campus or exploring Berkeley. The MARTA station is right across the street, which would make access to SFO and San Francisco by public transportation easy. We enjoyed the hotel breakfast as well as the numerous restaurants and bookshops in walking distance."

"We got into town a little later than expected, but the front desk person was kind, quick, and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Enjoyable location with Jack London, Chinatown, and Downtown all within a short to moderate walk. I would definitely stay again."
