「Overall, great place to stay. We came with family and hung out by the fire pit and played Jenga by the BBQ. rooms were spacious and clean. There is no front desk, which is fine, and they have a 800 number to call with questions and someone always answers. We weren't really accustomed to this and needed towels, but no none was at the hotel. we managed, so not that big of a deal. we will def stay here again next Shasta visit. 」
「This is a great local hotel. Walking distance to some cute restaurants and coffee shop. The service is excellent here. They are truly kind and helpful. Also, the grounds and rooms are beautifully maintained. I can't wait to come back :)」
「Good location to visit Shasta area.
Air conditioner is too noisy and the position is terrible.
This is the only thing what I did not like.
Not too bad, but a little bit too expansive in comparison with the quality.
I may not want to choose this hotel again.」
「This was a great place to stay, especially for the price in a tourist area! It is very close off I-5, yet secluded and quiet. Self check in is easy and they communicate with you at various points to make everything easy. It was clean, comfortable and had great AC, that was blissfully quiet. Great breakfasts you order the night before and they bring to you in the morning. Convenient access to any extras you need like ice, extra coffee, condiments, etc. Really enjoyed our stay. If you get a chance...
「Although I was initially skeptical of having no onsite management, the check-in via text was flawless.
Location is a quick 10 minute walk to historic downtown Dunsmuir where restaurants and a brewpub offer options to recharge after a day of driving and hiking. 」
「I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at McCloud River B&B. The hosts were so sweet, and Julie’s breakfasts were amazing.
The bed was also very comfortable—I actually slept through the night, which is so rare.
It was such a peaceful stay. Just what I needed! 」
