「Hotel uses historic building and very good atmosphere but I must say service level is not at professional level. I asked to bring towels to my room but it took two hours after I called twice. There is very limited items in the room and I had to ask for glasses to drink wine. There is swimming area just in front of the hotel but drains from somewhere (maybe from the hotel) make the whole area stink….」

「I wanted to like this hotel, but we were disappointed by how old the mattresses and furniture were. Sadly there was no sitting area/sofa in living area, just the trundle bed and a basic table with chairs. The location and balcony view were very beautiful and the host was nice and welcoming, and it was very clean, so that was much appreciated. However the listing said a 4 star hotel so we were a bit disappointed with the situation.」

「Our room had no water for 3 hours first thing in the morning - no showers, no flushing no brushing teeth. I had to call down to the desk who said they would alert maintenance but got no update but got no apology for the issue or inconvenience or no offers of alternative options (like the spa showers).」

「The villa is beautifully renovated. The room was clean & comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. Unfortunately the wifi frustratingly continually dropped out & the tv had no reception. The owner said it was because of a storm but I'm not convinced about that.The parking was easy, however, if you are a nervous driver, be warned, the road from Kotor is a single lane with 2 way traffic. It is a beautiful location.」

「This stay at Carrubba was disappointing. The room was poor; a low ceiling meant we had to crawl into bed, dated and poor quality furnishing, no bottled water, no tea/coffee facilities etc. There was a nasty smell from the drains in the room and on the stairs. In addition, it seemed as if the terrace was not for the sole use of the residents and in nearly every case, was already reserved for outside guests, so when we wanted to get a drink we were restricted. 「By far one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The location on the water can’t be beat and the views from the room are Instagram worthy. The staff were extremely helpful throughout the stay. Unfortunately we missed our connecting flight and only had one night here but it is for sure in our list for our next visit. An extra perk is the wonderful free breakfast.」

「The property really focuses on health and wellness. The food is all nutritious and healthy and a good variety of options for their breakfast. The rooms are fairly large and ours had a pull up bar. They give you water bottles to use and have water dispensers throughout the hotel which was such a nice touch. The gym is one of the nicer hotel gyms I’ve ever seen. If you’re looking to maintain a routine, it’s a great option. The area itself is near a marina but it’s most high mall like shopping....
