Even with the snow falling, we spent our evenings building cozy fires in the outdoor pit and enjoying the hot tub. When we weren't outside, the basement TV made for perfect movie nights. The highlights of our trip, however, were the breathtaking sunsets over the lake, which we watched daily from the spacious living room. The property offered incredible privacy and a serene quietness because there are no neighbors nearby. All we heard at night was the occasional owl. I recommend the pleasant lake cabin if you're looking for a relaxing vacation with all the amenities."

"The booking photos are deceiving. The place is much more run down. Maybe because its up for sale. There were 3 of us and only 2 blankets. There was no bedding for the pull out sofa. Which when we took the cushions off was full of crumbs and cheerios. Dust webs and cob webs and spiders were super creepy. Opened the bedroom curtains to find a big ol Pepsi vending machine! What a great view. Definitely should have stayed in a hotel!"
