"The property information on Expedia was incorrect - there is no laundry available. I specifically booked because we needed to do laundry during our stay so this was extremely disappointing. The room was clean, but very basic. Mini fridge was old and didn't get very cold. Bathroom fan wasn't functional and it showed because there was mold on the ceiling in bathroom. For the price and location it was a fine for a bed to sleep in for one night. I would not stay for longer. "

"We had a truly great time at this castle. It was everything we had hoped for during our stay. The castle is updated while keeping a lot of it's original charm. Driving to it was so scenic, with tons of green rolling hills to drive through and an olive tree lined path just before you get to the castle. It is not very far from Siena. And the church bells from the clock tower were very relaxing. Highly recommended."

"Giovanni and his crew were everything we could have wanted and more. This place was incredible. We stayed here and had our wedding here and it was one of the best trips. Everything was very clean and organized. We loved everything about this place. We will definitely be back."

"We enjoyed this quirky (lots of steps) but delightful rental. All the bedrooms with ensuite baths ensured privacy for everyone. The small kitchen was very well outfitted and we enjoyed cooking dinners there with wonderful indoor and outdoor eating options. The pool was refreshing with lovely views. The managers were attentive to our every need and very friendly and accessible. I would definitely come again!"

The water pressure is very poor and we had an box elder infestation, we actually left a day early without a refund. The staff was helpful and pleasant. "Cabbiavoli was the gathering place for our two week celebration with family and friends for my husband’s retirement. We were within an hour of every place we wanted to visit (Florence, Siena, Piza, Volterra) and even got to do the Cinque Terre hike, albeit a long day but so worth the two hour drive time!
