"No staff members in premises but instructions to check in a simple and clear to make the process fast and efficient. Room was very clean and tidy and with lots of space. Had an assortment of useful amenities and was very close to attraction we wanted to see (The Nara Deer). Overall a wonderful experience and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Nara and visit the deer."

"Fantastic location, steps away from the JR train station! Incredible staff, who went above and beyond both ahead of my stay and during my visit. Even assisting with understanding how to use the Yamato luggage forwarding system! My room was well equipped, spacious for a solo traveler and very comfortable. Local amenities and in hotel washers and dryers came in clutch! And it was great having a gym in the building too! Highly recommended… and would happily stay here again next time I visit Nara!"

"The hotel is beautifully positioned adjacent to the park, so watching the deer while enjoying a drink is easy. The rooms are absolutely fine with plenty of space, good views and are very clean. My only disappointment is that they are trying too hard to be 'fancy'. The drinks menu at the bar area is very nice, but just far too select to the point of being minimal. No water in the room, you collect from a filter unit in the basement in a jug. There's a kettle but only matcha tea provided. Etc . It's just not my style at all, but may suit many people."
