The hotel is located on a steep hilltop but shuttle service to train station is provided frequently and can be scheduled in advance. "Booked a 3night stay and each day just wow us more. The ryokan was having some renovations during our stay and there wasn't any lake view. However, the roof top view of mount Fuji made up for it. Every meal is different and the presentation is very pretty. There is always a welcome snack whenever we came back to the ryokan. It's a pity that i did not buy the snacks which were available at the store in the Ryokan thinking that I can purchase them at the train station souvenir stores. Friendly...

"Clean and cmfortable rooms, bathroom and showers close by. Mats were thick enough to be comfortable, while still giving an authentic Japanese experience. Not much in the immediate area, but great park and restaurants were a 15 to 30 minute walk. Desk person seemed a bit brisk, but not rude."

"The springs were amazing and very warm! The staff while serving the meals was top-notch! If you have the opportunity I'd suggest staying for more than 1 day and doing some hiking/exploring along the river. Beautiful scenery! "

"I loved the bath. It was so hot and steamy. The traditional Japanese rooms were exactly what I was looking for for my stay in Japan. As we were leaving, the sweet host gave us hot tea to warm our hands on our cold walk to the bud station. When I got to the bus the station, I realized I left my hat. All of a sudden I see her drive up to the station and give it to me. Excellent Japanese hospitality "

"Words cannot do justice to describe how beautiful this location is. We were absolutely stunned when we arrived not only by the beauty of the surrounding area but the building itself. The property is large and has tons of beautiful gardens and ponds to enjoy while you stay. The food is also absolutely delicious and the service was amazing. "This place is a little far from the town but on the from Fuji city you pass a lake where you can a beautiful view of mt Fuji. The hotel is excellent with activities provided. Service is great and onsen really very nice. Two separate baths for male and female. They switched around in the morning. Meals are buffet style. They provided a good spread."
